Our main Parish Mass is at 10:30am on Sundays. The service is ‘modern catholic’ in style: traditional, accessible, and friendly. We aim for an atmosphere of relaxed formality; no one stands on ceremony. So there’s no need to dress up specially (unless you’d like to) – feel free to come as you are. 😊 Tea and coffee are served afterwards. There’s also a quiet, said Mass every Tuesday at 12:15pm.

Saturdays at St Peter’s is all about good company. Every week there’s a different opportunity to meet, chat, learn, or pray. You can bring a craft project to Knit and Natter; explore a new way of praying with the Prayer Group; enjoy home-baked goodies at the Great Barnstaple Bakeoff; discover a new perspective on a Bible passage; or offer prayers for wholeness and healing for yourself, family, and friends. Come whenever you would like to meet people and make new friends.

The Tuesday morning Play Café is for young children and carers to meet and play in the Pebbles’ Corner between 10am and 12 noon. While kids let off some steam, we’ll serve you a coffee and slice of homemade cake so you can have some down time. Feel free to come whenever and to stay as long as you want: including, if you wish, for a Bible story, song, and prayer at the end of the morning.
